The Cube 3D Printer debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2013. 3D Systems developed this little printer for the home consumer market. They wanted a short simple video showing the types of various items around the home that it could print.

The project was a low-budget one-day shoot. The challenge was finding locations for filming that didn’t cost a lot of money. The client found a product manager willing to open his home for the shoot. A social marketing manager also opened his uptown flat for various product shots and overnight time-lapse work.

The final edit, shown here, was ready for their CES booth two weeks later. We still like this short little video.
